POLICE CHIEF STEVE GRIFFIN
Chief Griffin served 11 years as a US Army Ranger prior to beginning his career in law enforcement with the New Albany Police Department in June 1993.
In August 1995, Griffin joined the Jeffersontown Police Department and served there in various patrol and command positions until his retirement as Patrol Commander in September 2013.
Griffin began with the Hurstbourne Acres Police Department in July 2014.
Chief Griffin has a Bachelors Degree from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute.
Chief Griffin is a devoted husband and father.
